Viviana Echeverria, Strategic and Personnel Development Director
Vivi was born in 1967 in Santiago de Chile. At the age of 2 she moved together with her family to the state of Maryland in the US, where they lived until she was 9 years old, and the family decided to move back to Chile; a move which made her very happy as she longed to come back to Chile to be closer to her grandparents and cousins.
Vivi grew up enjoying music, singing and playing classic guitar. She also loved making origami paper figures and playing theater roles in musicals with the British Council.
Back in Chile, during the long hot Summers, she loved visiting the estate in Molina, riding her bike through the vineyards, refreshing herself in the water streams and enjoying looking at the huge elderly trees in the garden.
After graduating from Law School, Vivi joined the winery in 1993, the same year Viña Echeverria started exporting its wines worldwide. She greatly enjoyed traveling to Asia and Europe with her parents Roberto and Gloria Echeverria, promoting their wines and building long term relationships and friendships with many of the customers with whom we still work today, some 20 years later.
As Commercial Director until 2012 she focused on visiting Vina Echeverria’s customers worldwide, learning about their needs and working hard to deliver high levels of service. Throughout these 19 years, Vivi enjoyed meeting many people from different cultures, and generated a very special interest in learning about their lifestyle, art, cuisine and spiritual beliefs.
In 2012, inspired by her love for people and their potential for transformation and fulfillment Vivi graduated as a certified life coach. Since then her focus has been on strategic planning and the devolopment of the potential and well being of our collaborators. Today she spends most of her time in Molina, enjoying the family estate and contributing to the development of the valued members of the Echeverria workforce.
Vivi enjoys spending her free time in her countryside home in the foothills of the Andes mountains, together with her husband Sergio and their two Labradors Teresa and Olivia. They share their love from animals and for theatre. They enjoy travelling together promoting Echeverria wines abroad, and are fond of musicals in the UK and ethnic cuisine, Thailand being one of their favorite destinations.
