Casa Sol brand was established in 2010 and it sources grapes from famous appellations all over Chile, taking advantage of the exceptional soils, ideal temperatures, intense sunlight and pure melted-snow water from the magnificent Andes. Our wine styles vary from delicious fruity varietals to complex full-bodied red wines.

WHERE WE ARE
Exceptional soils, ideal temperatures, intense sunlight, and pure melted snow water from the magnificent Andes mountains make Chile a ‘Winemaker’s Paradise in the New World’.
Casa Sol vineyards and winery are in two very prestigious areas in Chile, Curicó Valley and Maipo Valley. Between the towering Andes mountains and the deep cool Pacific Ocean, these privileged viticultural zones, with its cold nights and warm dry days and long growth season, are ideally suited to produce healthy plants and grapes of all varieties, with outstanding fruit aromas and exceptional color concentration.
Working with a model of micro viticulture, each plot, no more than half a hectare, is identified according to its terroir and microclimate, and planted accordingly. Grapes are subject to specific pruning, irrigation, canopy management and harvesting, which result in grapes of optimum quality and flavor.

A harmonious and respectful relationship with the environment has always been part of Medal Royal ́s culture and we are proud to have been awarded Sustainability status by Wines of Chile.
Our responsible farming practices begin in the vineyard, where we use organic processes and biodegradable products, as well as flood irrigation, all the time encouraging the natural biodiversity of the land.
In the winery and offices, we also adhere to strict codes of environmental
sustainability, reflected in our use of recyclable materials and packaging, and our commitment to solar energy.
From 2012 we are also certified in Food Safety and Quality Management System, complying with international ISO 9001 HACCP standards.
